Conlog empowers the youth with expert training at the Durban Business Fair

At Conlog, our mission goes beyond delivering cutting-edge smart metering solutions for residential, commercial and government applications. We are dedicated to uplifting the youth by giving them the high-quality training they need to become the next generation of smart metering specialists, bringing new innovations and expertise to our industry.

As part of this commitment, we spent the day at the Durban Business Fair on Friday, 22 September 2023, running an installation training workshop for young and unemployed South Africans. Through this high-level presentation, attendees were introduced to the core theories, mechanics and concepts of smart meter installation.

This workshop was the first of its kind, and was run through the newly-opened Conlog Training Academy in partnership with SmartXchange, with our product specialist as the key presenter. To ensure open access to all attendees, the workshop was free of charge for any and all who wanted to attend.

We hope that this experience was a valuable one for our attendees, and we look forward to finding even more ways to engage with and educate our country’s youth in the near future.
