UMLAZI PLACE OF SAFETY
Conlog Management and Staff share festive cheer with the surrounding communities and Children’s Homes. There was much joy and laughter on Thursday, 14 December 2017, when staff visited their neighbours, who are members of the Lacey Road informal settlement in the Sydenham area and children at the Umlazi Place of Safety. Food hampers were donated to to fifty to bring some much needed relief to the vulnerable members of the community. The handover was also attended by Deputy Mayor, Fawzia Peer who applauded Conlog for embracing their needy neighbours and for thinking about the less fortunate members of our community.
Conlog also visited the Umlazi Place of Safety, and donated gifts and toiletries to the twenty nine children. The children were delighted when the “Spur on Wheels” vehicle arrived and treated everyone at the home to a meal.
Commercial Director, Mr Sibusiso Skosana, said: “Our company’s philosophy is ‘beyond profitability’ and it is heart-warming to have seen our staff embrace this value.”
